FISHING IN THE APURIMAC RIVER 2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT

DESCRIPTION OF FISHES OF RIVERS FROM THE SIERRA OF PERÚ
Peru, is undoubtedly, a varied country and a privileged one and has 85% of the world and therefore a percentage similar to the whole of the worldwide flora and fauna. The Andean sierra, the thaws of the mountain chain of the Andes, promote the shaping of lakes, lagoons and rivers and a long the sierra of Perú, what generates an excellent habitat for the development of the three varieties of trout that there are in Peru and the golden trot, the rainbow one and the bronw one and the sardines and fish that our ancestors, the Incas consumed and still here in Cusco – Peru , are found in some rivers, of name Jahuaco.
Fishes (trout) of a weight of 2to 10 kilograms have been captured in the lagoons with spinning (butterfly) and of fishing with fela, however, it is possible to find samples with a weight of 500 grams to 2 kilograms.

Almost in all the rivers in the sierra, but in some rivers still there are good samples a in Apurimac River.Fishing between the months of May and October is recommended, especially with butterfly using numbers from 1 to 3.

The agency Adventure World Inca, makes you know that the place that we offer in our programs are done in the Apurimac River. It is locanted in the canyon of the Apurimac and by ist journey goes through the flowing Apurimac River, starting at Condoroma (Arequipa) to then join in the jungle of the Ucayali. The denomination of the name makes credit to its flow that in Inca Quechua language is God Speaker.
And you will have a small unforgettable experience with us of the fishing of the night fish “Jahuaco” such fish is only fished at night.

The fishing season we offer in our programs is from May to October
PROGRAM 2 DAY / 1 NIGHT
FIRST DAY: CUSCO – RIO GRANDE.
Pick up at hotel 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.
After picking up our passengers, we travel south west from Cusco in a private bus arriving at the first village called Occopata. After we continue our journey passing the towns of Yaurisque, Ranraccasa and finally Paccarectambo. There we make a brief stop of 30 minutes to experience the land of the Brothers Ayar (mythical founders of the city of Cusco) where we will have a short historical summary about the “cradle” of the Brothers Ayar by our guide.
Next we continue on our journey until arriving at a small town around 11:00 a.m., when guests will be given a box lunch for the trail, which we begin here, descending approximately 2 hours. In the course of our journey we can observe the flora and fauna, beautiful vegetation, the countryside, mountain peaks, and the canyon of the Auprimac River.
We arrive around 1:30 p.m. at our destination, which is the bridge Rio Grande, hidden in the canyon of the Auprimac River. There we can enjoy a delicious lunch, a cup of coca tea, and relax. After the guide will give a brief talk about the history of fishing in this place, such as native and artisan fishing. Then he will give a fishing demonstration and your adventure begins.
In the night there will be a tasty dinner accompanied by coca tea, coffee, or beverage of choice. |

SECOND DAY : RIO GRANDE – CUSCO.
Breakfast 7:00 a.m.
After breakfast we continue with the fishing, where we move from the ravine intermediate phase to phase I and phase II.
After finishing the fishing around 12:00 p.m. we will eat lunch and take a short break.
Around 2:00 p.m. we board our bus for the return to the city of Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m. After arriving passengers will be transported to their respective hotels, which concludes our service.
