PROGRAM 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS FIRST DAY Arrival in Cusco and transfer to chosen hotel CITY TOUR: Monday thru Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We visit Koricancha, the temple of the sun, moon and stars, the Cathedral example of colonial art. Then we progress with a visit to the archaeological park and fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the funeral center of K’enko, and Pucapucara, the fortification formed by terraces, staircases, tower passages, niches, and platforms. Tambomachay, called the thermal bath of the Inca, formed by four walls that are connected by stairways. We can also appreciate the crystal waterfall, the water of eternal youth, where the Inca paid homage to the cult of water.

EXCURSION TO THE SACRED VALLEY
EXCURSION TO PISAC MARKET: Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays
From 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
We meet at the hotel at 8:30 a.m. Then were travel to the town of Pisac, famous for its Mass in Quechua, for the mayors and varayocs (community leaders). We visit the traditional indigenous market. We eat lunch in a traditional restaurant of the Valley. We proceed with our journey, in the afternoon visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo, on the road to Chinchero.
SACRED VALLEY AND PISAC ARCHEOLOGICAL COMPLEX
After visiting and enjoying the colorful Pisac market we continue the journey to a citadel of great magnitude, the archeological complex of Pisac that was an agricultural center and a principal center of “EL INTIHUATANA” or sundial.
FORTRESS OF OLLANTAYTAMBO:
Founded by the Cacique Ollanta, on the banks of the Urubamba River, it is a fortress of whose terraced levels are connected by staircases. At the top we discover the temple of the sun composed of monolithic rocks that appear not to be affected by time.
EXCURSION TO CHINCHERO:
Chinchero is famous for its traditional market and archeological remains, such as terraces, as well as a colonial church.

THIRD DAY Continental breakfast at the hotel EXCURSION TO THE INCA CITIDEL OF MACHUPICCHU TOURISTS TRAIN BACKPACKER: from Monday thru Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We leave the city of Cusco in the direction of the citadel of Machupicchu, known as the lost city of the Incas, built of palaces, temples, observatories, terraces, dwellings, tombs, and 3,000 staircases the permit us to climb to the plazas, ceremonial place, terraces, and sepulchre considered as one of the most important archaeological centers of the world and Peru.

The excursion is all day, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Upon return to the train station in Cusco transportation will be provided to the hotel.
