FIRST DAY
Arrival in Cusco and transfer to chosen hotel
CITY TOUR: Monday thru Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
We visit Koricancha, the temple of the sun, moon and stars, the Cathedral, an example of colonial art. Then we progress with a visit to the archaeological park and fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the funeral center of K’enko, and Pucapucara, the fortification formed by terraces, staircases, tower passages, niches, and platforms. Tambomachay, called the thermal bath of the Inca, is formed by four walls that are connected by stairways. There, we can also appreciate the crystal waterfall, the water of eternal youth, where the Inca paid homage to the cult of water. |

SECOND DAY:
Continental breakfast at the hotel
EXCURSION TO THE INCA CITADEL OF MACHUPICCHU TOURIST TRAIN
BACKPACKER: from Monday thru Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
We leave the city of Cusco in the direction of the citadel of Machupicchu, known as the lost city of the Incas, built of palaces, temples, observatories, terraces, dwellings, tombs, and 3,000 staircases that permit us to climb to the plazas, ceremonial square, terraces, and sepulchre, considered as one of the most important archaeological centers of the world and Peru. |
The excursion is all day, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Upon return to the train station in Cusco transportation will be provided to the hotel.
Lunch.
THIRD DAY:
Continental breakfast at the hotel
At the requested time, transportation to the airport for your return flight.
