Pick up at hotel at 8:30 a.m.
After picking up our passengers we travel for approximately one hour to the village of Chinchero where we begin our journey, descending on bicycles on a paved road to the village of Chequerec. From there we travel on a dirt road passing different villages and enjoying the countryside and the snow capped peaks of Chicon, Pitusiray, Sahuasiray and la Veronica until arriving at the archeological site of Moray. There we can see the magnificent agricultural construction and observed the different microclimates in the different levels of the site when we descend to the deepest part of the site, where there will be a brief explanation from our guide. This place was an experimental center for Inca agriculture. From there we continue our journey hiking a trail until Maras, which was a very prosperous town in the colonial era due to its surrounding fields, an impressive site called Yacen. From there we continue our trip descending to the Salineras. Then we can see how people extract large quantities of salt and the course of the water as it arrives in the shallow pools to then be converted into solid material through solar evaporation. After visiting Salineras we descend until Pichingot where our bus waits to bring us back to Cusco, arriving between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to bring the passengers to their respective hotels.
