Pick up at hotel at 8:00 a.m.
After picking up our passengers, the bus leaves the city of Cusco passing thru the Avenue Velasco Astete near the airport of the same name. We take the road from Cusco going south west and arrive at the village of Huillcarpay. From there we continue our journey in our bus until arriving at the village of Huamichaca-huanacaure. In the course of the journey we can see the flora and fauna, birds of the zone like the Gavilan and others. From there we also have a magnificent view of the city of Cusco. Huamichaca is the village where one finds the peak of Huanacaure. There, in the peak called Huanacaure, is where Mancco Capac and Mama Ocllo (mythical founders of the Inca culture) plunged their stake of gold. Because of that it is said that the Inca empire was founded here.
Here we have a visit to the village where we can observe their dress, homes, and how they work the earth. After our visit we descend walking 30 minutes to the small archeological site of Huanacaure, which we will enjoy with the guide. After delicious lunch and a short rest we continue 10 minutes on a spectacular trail.
The bicycle tour lasts approximately 2 and one half to three hours, enjoying all the beauty and nature gives us. From there we go to the airport and take the paved road to the entrance of the city. Our trip finished upon arriving at the office.
The tour lasts all day, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. From there we transport passengers to their respective hotels. |
